Path to Rest, Peace and Everlasting Life…

“I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begontten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Recognize we can never  be good enough.  “As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one.
‘” Romans 3:10 (Psalm 14:1 & 53:1)

We can’t earn it.  “For it is by grace (un-earned favor) you have been saved, through faith -and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“Then they asked Him, ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’
Jesus answered, ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.’ ”  John 6:28-29

“I pray that you may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge.” Ephesians 3:17-19

according to our mission statement**

Our mission statement: Is based on the Great Commission:

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

Our focus is on making disciples of Christ. The basic characteristics of a disciple, center around walking with and worshipping Christ, living in our community with others, and ministering to both the Church and the world. Foster Retreat Center exists to glorify God in this way, so we will constantly strive to:

Through Worship

Seeking only to glorify and honor God, our worship events are biblically- grounded. Our goal is to provide a worship setting and an experience that provides the worshipper with a life-changing experience with the living God, Jesus Christ.

Growth in Christ is a natural result of a relationship with God. As we grow closer to Jesus, we are changed into His image. That’s the only way to achieve a real, lasting change. It’s a process that continues throughout our lives as we grow in faith, love, maturity and knowledge in Him.
